The shores of La will soon see skyscraper apartments that will enhance the beauty of the landscape and to bring value to the housing delivery system in the country.

The $80 million project, comprising three 18 storey luxury seafront apartments is projected to be completed in September 2015. The La Beach Towers, will be Ghana’s first beach luxury apartment.

Briefing pressmen in Accra, Ms Worlase Afatsiawo, Head of Sales and marketing said the seafront apartment towers would have a mix of three bedroom apartments with boys quarters; as well as four en-suite bedroom penthouses.

The apartments will also have four en-suite bedroom sky villas plus entertainment room, study and boys quarters, which will rival beachfront developments such as the Dubai’s Marina and India’s GC Grand.

According to her, the construction work begun in January 2012 with the construction of the sea defence walls.

She said two other towers-The Palms and The Waves will subsequently follow after the construction of the Oceanic Towers, adding that the three residential towers will be nested in beautifully landscaped tropical gardens and have apartments with lounges that open out to balconies overlooking the Atlantic ocean.

Mrs Afatsiawo asserted that the development would also have the Oyster Bay comprising a podium parking for over 120 cars; podium garden with children’s playground; shared basket ball and tennis courts; as well as relaxing and viewing decks for residents and a club house with multipurpose hall, cafe bar, spa (with steam and sauna), gym, children’s splash pool and an infinity pool.

The development will also provide residents with 24-hour manned security, CCTV, outdoor and perimeter fence lighting, surface parking for over 200 vehicles, with back-up standby generators on automatic start-up, underground pressurised back-up water supply, on-site maintenance and othe facilities.
